PNC Business Credit: 400 Done Deals and Counting...

The Challenge: 

PNC Business Credit was developing quite an impressive track record of success in closing deals – both in quality and quantity. But their existing marketing materials weren’t getting the word out. They wanted a more strategic message and a more effective way of reaching a number of target audiences.

The Approach: 

A keen understanding of the marketplace and the decision makers lead us to one conclusion – the most important thing to communicate is that PNC just plain gets the deal done. For all parties involved, that’s what matters most.

We developed a direct mail campaign that hammered home this message and then gave it extensive support by highlighting PNC’s incredible track record of “Done Deals.” Large quarterly mailers were created in conjunction with monthly postcards, allowing PNC to talk up their hottest new deals as soon they occurred.

The Results: 

Due to its success, the campaign is now in its fourth year and the client couldn’t be happier. In fact, PNC’s most powerful “deal makers” have taken the time to call their marketing department and thank them for producing materials so precisely “on the money.” That’s pretty impressive considering these folks are so busy they barely take the time to call their spouses on their anniversaries!
